"We were gifted a different 'value for money' travel system before the birth of my son in November 2020. It wasn't my first choice, but it did the job...for about four months. The frame became faulty and wouldnt collapse. We took it back to the third party seller for repair, and it took a month for customer services to decide they couldn't do it. We were given an even cheaper courtesy pram which I barely used because I disliked it so much. We were finally offered a refund after several weeks. I looked at some popular prams from high street shops, and tried them out but wasn't won over, and most would take several weeks to deliver. I haven't really seen Uppababy out and about, but stumbled upon it in a couple of shops and really liked it. I ordered it from Natural Baby Shower and it was delivered in a couple of days! It's easily one of the best prams out there. The frame is sturdy and well built, perhaps a little heavy. The mechanisms are all smooth and connect/disconnect easily. There are green/red indicators to tell you if you've clicked things in correctly. The carry cot can be used as a bassinet for overnight sleeping, I'm quite sad that my son will only use it for a few weeks because he's outgrown it at 6mo already. I haven't used the stroller yet, but it looks good. The handle is adjustable, the brake is easy to use and has red/green indicators on it for on/off, the basket is very easily accessible unlike many popular High Street models and it is also larger than average. The wheels are suitable for most terrains. It's a very smooth pram to push and my son falls asleep in it very quickly, which I imagine is his approval! The collapsing mechanism is very easy, just pull on two clasps and you're done. I'm very glad that I didn't fall for for 'one handed collapse' thrown about by other brands. The handle allows you to stand it up when collapsed which is handy for storing it around the house. It's pricey but definitely worth the money for something well built, easy to use and which feels like luxury. If this pram was a car, it would be a BMW or a Mercedes. The Cybex car seat is amazing, I understand why it's considered one of the safest ones on the market. The swivelling base is a game changer, it's easy to use and clicks into the isofix much easier than my previous car seat base. The only thing is my baby gets quite warm in it, but I just dress him appropriately in less layers now. It's also a bit heavy, but feels safe so it's a small price to pay. I've not really been a 'baby stuff' kind of mum, I've avoided getting sucked into buying too many things or splurging on stuff. But I can safely say I LOVE this so much, I'm obsessed with the pram! It's definitely the best purchase I've made. I just wish I'd bought it 6 months ago before my baby was born. Additionally the quick delivery, customer service and pay in three (using paypal) by Natural Baby Shower were all brilliant and the icing on the cake."
