Toddler Beds

Transitioning to a toddler bed occurs between 18 months and three years. Signs your toddler is ready for a bed include outgrowing and climbing out of the crib or expressing any desire for a new bed.

If you want to transition your toddler into a bed, some of the things you can do to ease the transition are:

• Have 'quiet time' before bed
• Encourage your toddler to climb into their new bed
• Let your child take a blanket from the old cot
• Say goodnight
