Only truly “travel” travel cot
"We don’t have a car but love travelling everywhere with our now toddler, from long haul flights (I come from a 14 hour flight away from the UK), visiting the family within 2 hour flight or going camping by train. This cot always came with us even if i’m travelling with my little one solo. Just loaded on the top of the buggy or even in my backpack (sticking up sometimes). When I was thinking about buying it I saw reviews that said it’s a pain to put together. Yes it’s not a one touch set up and you need to slot each legs in. But once you done it once, the mere inconvenience of putting it together is no nuisance than having to carry a bulky cot (or maybe you chose not to take the cot, at grandparents it is cheaper to by a travel cot there than paying to fly with it when you have buggy and car seat that takes 2 items out of the bay allowance). I also used this when we had an unfortunate stay at hospitals when the little one was poorly (which just happens now and then!), so the child sleeps in there fully monitored and I (mum) had a bed to sleep on instead of having no sleep - which was a life saver for me to be fully functional next day. I recommend this cot for being so small, and so light. If you are choosing this for the compactness and the weight, you don’t need the latest one with the new born setting. It’s a nice to have, but it adds so much weight and more bulky so I always chose not to. I recommend you save money with the older model, that’s where this product truly shine."
