BeSafe Stretch 2 Car Seat - Fresh Black Cab

We’ve been testing the BeSafe car seat with Freddie over the last few weeks. Freddie is 2 and a half and a tall/heavy boy for his age so one of the biggest things for us was finding a seat that would last him a good amount of time while allowing us to keep him rear facing. Straight away the seat felt really sturdy and well made. It’s a substantial car seat but once it was fitted into the car we really liked how solid and secure it felt. It also feels really roomy. With Freddie being a big toddler, we didn’t want to move him into something that already looked like he was starting to outgrow it and there’s definitely plenty of growing room in this one.

For getting Freddie in & out, this was one of the big differences we’ve noticed compared with previous seats. The low sides make SUCH a big difference getting Freddie in and out. When you’ve got a heavy, wriggly, (and not always compliant toddler lol) not having to lift him right up and over the side of the seat every single time makes life so much easier! The magnets for the straps are an absolute god send as well. Such a simple thing but genuinely one of our favourite features. Freddie seems really comfortable in it and has plenty of space around him and has definitely been the happiest getting in this than any other car seat we’ve had before. It was/is so important for us to keep him rear facing as long as possible and really didn’t want his size to be the reason we felt we had to turn him to front facing. He’s got plenty of room for his legs.

Overall we are very happy and really impressed with it. The safety side is obviously the most important thing when choosing a car seat but when you’re using something multiple times a day, every single day, the practical side makes a huge difference too and the BeSafe car seat ticks all the boxes.
