The Maxi-Cosi 360 range is the next generation of rotating car seats, designed to grow with you. The unique 360 Family consists of a rotating FamilyFix 360 base and compatible car seats, which carry your baby from newborn up to 4 years old! The Pebble 360 is suitable from birth to approx. 15 months, whilst the Pearl 360 is suitable from birth to approx. 4 years.

Our trusted parent testers were super excited to put the 360 range to the test, especially as all products in the 360 family meet the latest and highest i-Size safety standards for maximum child car safety.

Maxi-Cosi Pebble 360 car seat and FamilyFix 360 base review

Parent tester - Emily Hall-Strutt

The Maxi-Cosi Pebble 360 car seat and base arrived well packaged, in boxes that weren’t much bigger than the items themselves but still provided good protection.

The seat and base are high quality, they feel sturdy and secure and are well designed. The canopy on the car seat is one of our favourite features as it makes it look really stylish plus it helps to block bright light from the baby’s eyes (although it’s not enough to provide full sun protection).

The base didn’t take long to fit in the car and it’s easy to fit the seat into it once you get the hang of it. It’s a relief not to have to mess around with seatbelts or worry that you haven’t secured the seat as the seat clicks into place and there’s an indicator that turns from red to green so you know you’ve done it right. It’s also really helpful to be able to attach the seat facing you and then rotate it to face backwards (or forwards for an older child).

We found it really easy to attach the car seat to our pushchair, even though it’s a different brand. It’s also nice that you can rock the car seat when it’s on the floor, which can help to soothe the baby.

It’s heavier than we expected and you have to push buttons on each side of the seat simultaneously to be able to put the handle up or down, which makes it difficult for one person to do single handed, but we understand that there are probably safety reasons for both of those things.

Our baby seems comfortable in it and we’re confident he’s safe. It’s easy to strap him in securely. If he’s upset when he first goes in the car seat he soon calms down and falls asleep while we’re driving.

We briefly had a car seat that was an older model by the same brand and to compare, this is definitely a big upgrade in terms of design and ease of use.

We’d recommend it to all new parents!

Maxi-Cosi Pearl 360 car seat and FamilyFix 360 base review

Parent Tester - Sophie Grindley

We are so pleased with our Maxi-Cosi Pearl 360 car seat as it’s been perfect for our little one.

It arrived in one box for the car seat and one box for the Isofix base. I could tell already when I took it out the box that it was very sturdy and would provide the perfect protection for our newborn.

Once we got the knack of putting the Isofix into the car it was super simple. The 360 rotation mechanism is really smooth and allows us to get him in and out of the car with minimal fuss. Sometimes the straps can be a little hard to adjust but again, this wasn’t a problem once we got used to it.

As well, there are many inserts, which as he gets bigger will allow the car seat grow with him.

It provides such a comfy ride for our little one, and would highly recommend!
