I love the Bugaboo Stardust travel cot, stylish, super quick to assemble, a must have!
I am a mother to four children. So over the years I’ve used many travel cots, I’m pretty sure you’ve had that struggle with one yourself, trying to figure out how to put the thing up! The Stardust has been the easiest I’ve used to assemble, so quick literally a click of a button I have it up in less than a minute! I was super impressed the first time I tried it out. Its just as easy to pack away too.
It’s super light if you wanted to travel with it, no big bulky box shape which is how I remember travel cots. I also love that it has the option to have the bassinet on two different levels just by zipping it to attach. It saved my back when I was getting the twins in and out, having it in the higher level.
I used the Bugaboo Stardust for my Twins. I used from birth. Instead of using moses baskets I chose to use the Stardust for their daily sleeps down stairs and I used it for a safe place the girls to play. It was so easy and convenient. Especially for me having two babies, this saved on space.
Plus it looks great, I really like the stylish classic look with it being all in black. The girls are now 5 months old I’ve only just started to use their cots for their daily sleeps upstairs. So the Stardust has to be on my list for a MUST have if you’re a parent. We plan to purchase one more now the girls are older and unable to share for our planned adventures away from our home.
The Bugaboo Stardust travel cot came well packaged, and was a super quick delivery from the Natural Baby Shower. They are my go to for all my baby buys, I’m never disappointed.

I must say it arrived just in the nick of time as Sebastian has recently outgrown his Moses basket so we’re using the travel cot downstairs in the daytime for naps.
Hopefully not long before we can travel again. We have a couple of trips booked so it’ll defo be coming with us.
The Bugaboo Stardust was nicely packaged. We have kept the cardboard box for protection when it’s stored in the loft if we no longer need it.
The travelcot itself also comes in a black carry case making it easy to move around the house or from location to location.
The travelcot is all black with a cream quilted mattress and looks super stylish and compact. It also have a very handy and unique feature where you have two options for height of the mattress which is super handy when trying put a sleepy newborn down without having to tilt yourself forward and risk dropping the baby in. It’s really original as I’ve never seen this feature before in a travel cot. It’s a big selling point.
The Bugaboo Stardust is very good quality and the mattress is firm yet comfortable with lovely quilted stitching. I like that the frame is all black as it goes well in our extension. It’s also super easy to put up compared to other travel cots we’ve tried. Up in one second! That’s the sort of action you want when you’ve also got a toddler running around to look after too. Speedy and effortless when you need 100 hands at once sometimes.
The are lots of pros - the two level option for smaller babies is fantastic and the main selling point closely followed by the speed to put it up and together. It looks super stylish and monotone too - who says your house can’t be stylish just because it’s baby proofed?
Cons: The travelcot when folded in it’s bag is quite wide so it’s not the smallest travelcot to carry around if travelling alone.
Sebastian is very comfortable in the travel cot and sleeps well in it for both his daytime and night time naps. He’s still only 5 months so we keep him downstairs with us in the travel cot until we go to bed and then take him upstairs.
If you need a travel cot or a safe place to keep baby whilst you’re busy in the house then I would 100% recommend the Bugaboo stardust. The split level mattress is so handy and Sebastian is happy to be in the travel cot both day and night. It’s a big thumbs up from us.
