Babymoov Hygro+ Humidifier couldn't have come at a better time. Middle of winter and a baby full of cold, it was just what we needed.
With germs flying everywhere, you can rest assured that this humidifier creates a clean environment for your little one. My daughter was suffering from an awful cold - she was awfully congested and symptoms worsened at night. However, after a night of using the
Babymoov Hygro+ Humidifier, her symptoms definitely improved. The humidifier helped unblock the congested mucous in her nose and throat, allowing her (and me, of course!) to have more restful night sleep. I also set it up in the playroom and had it running throughout the day to ensure the air didn't become too dry from central heating and encourage those pesky germs to hang around.
I particularly liked that you can set the humidity rating and also place it on auto adjust to keep the humidity at the desired level in the room - it simply kicks in when it needs to. There is also a timer so you don't have to have it running throughout the whole night. I did wake to a slightly damp carpet one morning, so I always make sure either the timer or auto adjust is on. There is also a multi coloured night light. My daughter prefers to sleep in total darkness; however, I can imagine that the low-level lighting could be appealing to some babies or young children. The colours aren't bright and do have a calm tone to them. I do also like that there is a compartment for essential oils, although I'd probably use this more for myself than my daughter. I love a lavender pillow spray so a drop of lavender oil in the humidifier would probably help me have a perfect night sleep.
Lastly, the humidifier isn't overly compact which was a slightly issue for me as my daughter's room is quite small. I struggled to know where to place it, especially as it needs to be plugged in. That being said, it is stylish and inoffensive to look at in comparison to others. I had always considered buying one but held back because of how costly they can be. However, I would definitely recommend the
Babymoov Hygro+ Humidifier and do think you get good value for the money.
