It's very protective, feels warm, smooth, and most importantly doesn't have that weird scratchy noisy plastic feeling that other waterproof protectors have. "This is the second mattress protector we’ve purchased by little green sheep for this bed. The first was worth every penny and wanted to have a backup. The material is very soft and doesn’t make any noise when on the bed, not like the old plasticky sheets. It’s great to prevent against accidents and fits perfectly for a single bed with really robust elastic to hold in place. Just wish they had a larger option for when the kids sneak through to our room! I would add when washing the sheet though, there is a considerable drying time, hence the spare so we can switch over and keep the mattress protected."
