Obaby Cloud Bedside Crib

As a first time mum I was eager to find a next to me crib that I felt was safe, easy to function for those nighttime feeds but would also go beautifully with the aesthetic of our bedroom. My first impression of the Obaby bedside crib was how beautifully made it is. The fabrics and colours are gorgeous and it feels really well made.

The design is so scandi and aesthetic with the neutrals and wooden look legs. And it looks so premium in my room. But what I learnt to love most about this next to me is its functionality. The crib has a huge section underneath that stores way more than you think, so you can hide away spare outfits, feeding and changing essentials without it looking cluttered. The crib also has 2 height adjustments which are really easy to change by myself which is a huge bonus, I could ensure it’s the right height for my bed.

As for the safety element, I’ve never felt so reassured while building baby furniture. Everything clicks loudly when in place to it’s very obvious that it’s been installed correctly. The instructions are super easy to follow (I built this entirely by myself at 27 weeks pregnant with ease). Everything has been thought through - eith clips to attach the crib to your bed, strong brakes on the wheels, a hidden and padded bar that sits where the zip down section is for safety of baby rolling in the night. It’s very straight forward and easy to use.

The best part of this crib other than it looking gorgeous, is the zip down section for easy access to baby during the night feeds AND the wheels on the crib making it so easy to manouver around safely if I need to. And the storage is a huge bonus that I didn’t even think I’d need but is so practical.

Overall the crib is so functional, fits the aesthetic, but is most importantly well made and super safe to use. It’s also a good size that baby girl won’t outgrow quickly.
