The best double convertible but there is room for improvement.

"Best in terms of soundness of structure - my husband is an engineer and is very impressed with this after ripping to shreds other big name competitors regarding their structure, manoeuvrability, and general safety - you know your kids will be safe and secure in this. However, (having been spoiled by Bugaboo Lynx as our first buggy), there are some simple things Nuna have left to be desired. Memory buttons should be as standard on all buggy’s for removing and attaching the seat, the carry cot, car seats, adapters, the hood of the carry cot, etc - it’s very annoying that you have to press buttons simultaneously when you’ve got a toddler tantrum-ing and / or a newborn/ baby bump giving you grief. Some buttons are placed in awkward spots, like the belly bar release - the buttons are small, hard and metal, and tucked under the seat lining. . not a smart place at all for something you’ll need to use multiple times on any outing. Staying on the topic of the belly bar, it doesn’t rotate fully out of the way - it sort of sticks out and has the other end at such an awkward angle that it almost always catches on the toddler when I’m putting him in/ taking him out. The carry cot should have been made to sit much higher when in double mode and the toddler seat is at the bottom. . there is very little space for the toddler to move and I can see him bumping his head quite badly on the hard carry cot if I am not careful - baby 2 hasn’t arrived yet, but I may not use this configuration for this very reason. Storage - I obviously knew this before I bought it, but the double mode will mean no storage space for a baby bag of any size. I don’t want to carry a backpack so I think the only option left is to have baby and toddler things places in multiple small zipped travel bags, and slip them into the small space there is under the sibling seat when in the lower position. You might be wondering why I’ve bought this given the issues, well it’s because I wanted a decent sized seat, which it has, and a strong solid structure that could take two kids. A convertible side by side, like the Bugaboo Donkey, was a firm “no” as the seats were far to narrow for my 2 year old to be comfortable in, therefore Nuna Demi Next was chosen as the only viable option. (I’ve already mentioned how other convertible “up and down” buggy’s from leading brands did not pass my engineer husband’s safety sniff test)."
