Amazing pram

"Love this pram! Bought this with the carrycot for my baby... writing a detailed review as I couldn't find any and felt I was taking a bit of a gamble when I bought it. The carrycot can be used for occasional overnight sleeping, great for first trips to meet grandparents. It has a handy zip and pocket at the parent end, so you have somewhere safe to keep your phone/keys etc. The carrycot clips on and off really easily so you can leave muddy wheels at the door but keep baby sleeping in it. You wouldn't need a separate Moses basket as can just use the carrycot. However - it says it can be used up to 9kg, but by 4 months and 5kg my baby was getting too long for it! I would still buy the carrycot though as I'd have felt baby was too small for the main pram until about 4 months (even though it says suitable from birth). The carrycot is a bit higher up than some of the others I've seen so it feels a bit more secure for a tiny newborn. We used Moses basket sheets over the mattress to protect it a bit. The pram itself has a really good sized basket underneath - though unfortunately the rain cover (neither of them - there's a separate one for the pram and carrycot) doesn't protect it so all your stuff gets soaked if it rains! The turning circle, suspension and wheels are great, it's a really smooth ride - great both for walks in the park and London buses. As mentioned, we moved baby into the main pram seat around 4 months and really like that the hood has a zip to open further and has little mesh windows for baby to see out of. Unfortunately there's no where to hang toys when you have the pram in the lie flat option as the handlebar would just get in the way of their legs (so we have it off until baby sits up more often). The lock on the front wheels is really tricky when folded, but actually it stands up ok without this so we never bother. The fold is SO easy. I wish the basket was protected from the rain, but otherwise think it's perfect!"

Fantastic buggy

"This is a fantastic buggy for city living, both with car and without. It can also handle cobbles and broken footpaths well too, which I was dubious about initially but pleasantly surprised in the suspension. The only thing we've struggled on is thick gravel so far. I bought this after baby was already 3 months old so didn't bother with the carrycot. But baby is very happy in the lay flat seat, and for extra warmth and comfort I have added a bugaboo newborn cocoon which fits quite well. I think baby prefers this to the previous carrycot I had (on a bigger buggy, too heavy for me in the end!) as bubs can see the world much better this way. The fold is the BEST thing ever. We keep the buggy in our car so it's never really stood up vertically to be a one-hand unfold, it takes two hands unless it's stood vertically. I don't mind though, all the other positives make it very worth it."
