As part of our continued support of our charity partner, Stripey Stork, we are taking part in #stripes4stripey. On Thursday 20th June 2019 Natural Baby Shower will be showing their support and helping Stripey Stork in their mission to help families in need with essential baby and parenting goods. Keep reading to find out what we will be doing and how you can get involved too!
What is #Stripes4Stripey
#Stripes4Stripey is Stripey Storks annual day where they ask all of their supporters to rock stripes for the day in honour of the charity and to raise awareness and funds for the amazing charity.
On Thursday 20th June they’re asking every Stripey Stork fan, supporter, member of staff and sponsor to show solidarity in wearing stripes – whether socks, a top, an accessory or a fashion statement you’ve been desperate to show-off – and donate to Stripey Stork to help a family in need.
The aim of the day is to help spread the word, raise essential funds and most importantly have fun! This year Natural Baby Shower wants to help make it even bigger and better than last year and help our friends at Stripey Stork achieve their target of £1500.
The funds raised on the day will be used throughout the year to buy new items needed to complement the pre-loved items included in children’s clothing packs – such as underwear, socks and nightwear- and complete donations. We want the recipients to feel like they are receiving a gift and not a handout, and including such items in new, clean condition helps Stripey Stork achieve this.
These essential items make such a difference to children and families who are in need of a helping hand and a touch of love.
How are NBS supporting?
How could we not want to get involved and help this amazing charity that we love to help achieve their target! The whole NBS team will be earning our stripes and rocking our favourite stripey combinations to the max. But that’s not all… we wanted to go one step further.
Whilst we love our stripey wardrobe we want to help our customers stock up on the stripes as well by creating a special exclusive stripe collection in honour of this amazing day. All of our favourite stripey products will be in one place for you to shop, from those adorable socks for little feet to those super stylish statement stripey pushchairs and changing bags. So everyone can earn their stripes a little easier we will also be offering 15% OFF the whole stripey collection for 48 hours only - ending midnight Friday.
But we couldn’t just stop there, to make this year bigger and better than any year that’s been before, we will also be donating 1% of ALL sales made on 20th June 2019 to the guys at Stripey Stork so they can smash their target. The more you shop, the more we will donate. The perfect excuse for guilt free shopping!
