Recently we gave 4 lucky parent testers the chance to review a beautiful Elodie Details stroller bag in their choice of design. Take a peek at what they thought...

I was over the moon when I was told that we were getting to review and keep the Elodie Details stroller bag from Natural Baby Shower.
When I received the parcel I was so excited. The stroller bag was lovingly and elegantly packaged and arrived in a stylish dust bag. I knew straight away that it was a good quality item.
I absolutely love this stroller bag, I love it because it's super stylish and perfect for cold outdoor walks. It's really warm so when I go out with my daughter I don't need to put her in a jacket or gloves. The best thing is if we do go indoors the top piece is completely detachable (with big, quality zippers that run smoothly) so it's perfect for warmer environments too.
Bonnie is 9 months and I would say she fits the stroller bag perfectly, my only con would be if you had a younger or smaller baby you wouldn't want to zip the bag right up as it would come up very close to their little face. It would fit better buttoned down for a younger baby, which means it is still usable though.
The stroller bag is easy to use and is very practical, our daughter loves it as much as I do, for the week we have used the stroller bag Bonnie has slept like a baby (no pun intended!). The times I've just used a blanket on our stroller it just got caught under the wheels so for me, a stroller bag is an essential item.
We chose the midnight bells design which compliments our Bugaboo stroller perfectly. The colours are vibrant and comes complete with a gorgeous faux fur trim on the hood. Compared to other footmuffs or stroller bags I've seen this one is the best quality, very warm and water resistant too. There are handy slits in the back of the stroller bag to fit the 5 point harness, they matched up with our pushchair really well so we had no difficulties at all.
Overall I think the Elodie Details stroller bag is excellent. The bag is not the cheapest but you are paying for quality and for the use you'll get out of it I think it is good value for money.

Whilst pregnant with my now two year old, I’d spend my evenings scrolling the internet, browsing ‘baby essential’ lists and buying every single item that I stumbled upon. Little did I know that I was pretty much wasting my money because most of these ‘must have’ items, weren’t ever used. Now that we are up and out of the baby stage and I am now pregnant with baby number two, I’ve used my previous experience and written my own list of essentials that I feel are the absolute necessities with a baby. One thing on my list, which I think is pretty important if you have winter babies like me, is a footmuff.
The first thing I noticed about the footmuff, which others I have previously owned didn’t have, was the hood. Keeping your babies head warm is so incredibly important and even with the addition of a hat, sometimes the wind or snow can still creep in and be sore on those little ears. To have extra security around the head, gives peace of mind that your baby will stay warm and sheltered (and hopefully keep them asleep for longer). This is probably one of my favourite features of the footmuff, with its removable faux fur trim it gives practicality and style.
Another huge pro to this genius creation, is the thickness of the footmuff itself. I have fallen victim to the idea of buying a cheaper product that supposedly does just as good of a job as a more expensive one. But as a matter of fact all you end up with is a very thin piece of material which then needs an extra blanket tucked in underneath, which totally defeats the object of a footmuff. The Dots of Fauna, has heat insulated panels and the outer layer is wind and water resistant so you can rest assure that your baby is super snuggly inside. (What I’d give to be small enough to fit inside one of these during the cold winter months).
As I already have a two year old, we’ve had our fair share of prams and pushchairs. I tested the footmuff out on all three of the current prams we have. One being your standard newborn to toddler pram, one is an off road buggy which is quite bulky and the other is a small and lightweight pram which compacts down to the size of a small bag. The Dots of Fauna footmuff fit all three of these very different prams! I’m consciously trying to save money on new baby items so this is music to my ears and has meant that I don’t have to buy three seperate footmuffs for each pram.
It also has a pocket flap which prevents the footmuff from sliding, perfect for trying to get your wriggly baby in and out without it falling onto the floor. But even if you were to have a ‘footmuff slipped off and into a puddle’ incident or if you have babies/toddlers who like to eat their way through your snack packs and leaving the reminiscence all over footmuff, you can pop it straight into the wash once you get home. It can then be tumble dried if you are in a rush to head back out again. Nothing excites a Mum more than items that can be popped into the washer and don’t have the dreaded ‘hand wash only’ tag on, who has time to do that?
My last huge pro is the thing that struck me the most as soon as I got the footmuff out of its dust bag and that is just how beautiful it really is. The design is just timeless! It’s a gorgeous white/grey colour covered with specks of black, dark and light grey which make it unisex and perfect for parents like me who aren’t sure of the gender of their next arrival. It also means it can be used again and again for future children.
It is a classic and subtle design which I can’t get enough of and it instantly makes a ‘regular pram’ look luxurious. I cannot wait to have my new arrival all snuggled up inside of this wonderful product!

The Elodie Details footmuff arrived via first class Royal Mail. I was given a specific time slot for its delivery and it arrived right on time. The packaging was perfect for the product, not wasteful and fully recyclable. The footmuff comes in a really nice and practical dust bag: really strong with nice thick handles. The storage bag will be perfect for storing the footmuff during the summer months and will keep it well protected.
My first impression of the footmuff was ‘wow’. It’s absolutely gorgeous. The lining is unbelievably soft, snuggly and in all honesty I’d happily snuggle up inside it!! I couldn’t wait to get it on my bugaboo chameleon: it was as easy and fits as perfectly as my bugaboo footmuff.
The footmuff has two really strong zips; the tag to pull the zip is strong and a good size, no faffing around trying to get hold of the zip to close. I instantly fell in love with how high up with footmuff comes. My daughter is a little monkey and constantly sits with her hands outside; but not with this! The top is slightly elasticated which means in wraps around her and prevents those sneaky hands popping out! For me, this was a winner. Anyone with a little one knows the struggle of getting mittens on and keeping them on, I now don’t even think about it because I know she will stay warm. It also has some super strong press studs so you can turn the top down, which I will certainly do as the warmer weather arrives.
It’s waterproof!! With morning and afternoon school runs and at least one dog walk a day, knowing that if I get caught in a shower she will stay nice and dry is so reassuring. And the fabric isn’t shiny, isn’t slippy, and isn’t sweaty, like some waterproof items. It’s soft, comfortable and the design is gorgeous.
So warm!! This footmuff is absolutely the warmest. Whilst it feels lightweight it is thick and keeps my daughter super warm. Audrey loves it, she is comfy, warm and loves being in it. Worries of her getting cold just haven’t existed since we’ve had this product.
It’s gorgeous! It’s super pretty and goes beautifully with my bugaboo tailoring. It’s not over powering, bright or brash. Really beautiful design in gorgeous shades that make it a real show stopper. Everywhere we go, people comment on how pretty and lovely it is.
For us, this footmuff is a complete winner, there is nothing we dislike; practical and super stylish providing comfortable and worry free walks and school runs! I can’t recommend this product enough.

When I found out I had won an Elodie Details Footmuff to review, I was very excited. I had been given a second hand, older design (a plain black one) when I had my daughter so was very keen to upgrade to a new design, knowing that I already loved the brand and style.
The footmuff arrived quickly and was packaged in a small box. Inside, the footmuff came in its own dust bag- a nice feature for storage through the summer. I also felt the little ‘Merry Christmas’ note from Natural Baby Shower was a nice touch to include.
The footmuff was folded neatly inside its dust bag and I could instantly see how full and thick it was going to be.
The vintage floral design had instantly caught my eye when I applied to test the product and I was not disappointed in my choice when I saw it in person. It is such a beautiful, unique pattern and colour palette. It looks ever better in person and really makes a statement without being over the top.
The matte grey looks nice with the cream fur style interior and the muted colour palette of the flowers is picked up in the tan details of the label and zip tags; overall, making it feel and look very high quality. Having already owned an Elodie Details Footmuff, I knew that the quality was very good and I expect this one to last well.
The interior of the footmuff is a soft fur imitation material, which makes it very thick and warm. I thought the large space to put the pram straps through was a great feature as I had struggled to feed the straps through on the older design; however, I did feel that it was missing some kind of non-slip material on the back like the older design had. It does hook over the top of the pram seat so it doesn’t slip, but I did like how there was literally no movement from the older design.
You are also able to remove the fur lining around the head but I found that it is quite good for keeping around their head and neck warm.
The fact that the outside of the footmuff is water repellent, water proof and soil repellent is a bonus when giving an 11 month old snacks in the pram!
The poppers are used so that you can fold down the top of the footmuff if you want to have that option; otherwise, you can zip both sides right up to the top.
The footmuff fits really nicely onto my iCandy Orange, which has quite a large seat. We also tried it on our foldable Maclaren stroller and a running buggy and our daughter was nice and cosy in all of them.
Also, I was happy that the rain cover fit over the footmuff; however, as she gets bigger, I am not sure how long it will be able to do that as it was a bit of a squeeze.
Overall, it is a beautiful footmuff and I am very happy with my choice. It really keeps my little girl warm and cosy on own walks and she obviously likes it as she is happy to nap in it!
