Babiators Children Sunglasses Review
Babiators are this year’s must have accessory for your little one - stylish yet practical they are the perfect addition to any adventure. What more could you ask for? Well to see if these child-proof glasses are all they’re cracked up to be, we put them to the test! We gave 5 parent testers a pair of Babiators to try out for themselves – see what they had to say about them..

I was recently sent the Sublime Lime Babiators to product test. Firstly, when they arrived the packaging was lovely, the straw makes it easy to just wrap the product how it arrived and give as a present. I also like the fact the person who packaged it gave it a lovely personal touch.
It's so fab to know that the Babiators are 100% UV protected and BPA free. This makes it a lot easier to go out in the sun and feel a lot more at ease that Emilia has the best eye protection possible and of course they actually fit, which is so difficult to find good fitting sunglasses.
Also knowing that if they are lost or broken they will be replaced is such fab idea and again, one less thing to worry about. Also the little blurb on the actual sunglasses packaging is lovely. I look forward to using them over and over again.

We were recently invited to review and keep a pair of Babiators sunglasses for Natural Baby Shower.
Communication with Natural Baby Shower was easy and timely. The sunglasses arrived quickly; the postage was fast and tracked. I was pleased to see that the box was an appropriate size for what was inside (mentioning no names, but it’s a bugbear of mine when I receive a tiny item in a huge box, containing way too much packaging) and also that all of the packaging could be recycled. So far so good!
The Blue Crush Babiators are a stunning colour and the age 3-5 pair is the perfect size for my 5-year-old daughter Honey. They stay on her face as she plays, unlike some cheaper sunglasses and I am fully confident that they provide her eyes with 100% UVA and UVB protection from the sun. My two-year-old son Ace also loves the Babiators, this size doesn’t fit him quite yet though, so I’d say they are true to size.
The pros of these sunglasses are many and varied but here are my top 3:
- They look really cool!
- They are built specifically for little faces, so won’t slide off.
- They come with a 1 year ‘lost and found’ guarantee, which is so easy to set up!
As for cons, I suppose some people may be put off by the cost. I know I was at first.
At £22.50 they do initially seem expensive for children’s sunglasses. Ace’s current sunglasses were just £7, BUT, they slide off his nose, the plastic is brittle and the arms are delicate, plus he’s on his second pair this summer. Ace accidentally sat on the Babiators and they were absolutely fine, I also asked Honey to really try and break the sunglasses. As you can see from the photo’s, she was a little reluctant to test their limits but with some persuasion, I was able to prove that they’re all but bullet proof!
All in all, I’d say that the Babiators are a sound investment and will save you (me) trawling the shops each summer, getting the children to try on every pair of kid’s sunglasses in town. The best thing about Honey’s pair is that I am confident they will still be in great condition when she is ready for the next size (she wants pink one’s next time), so we can pass them down to Ace.

Babiators are the only baby sunglasses you’ll need!
I was thrilled to be asked to review a pair of Babiators because let’s face it if you know what Babiators are, you know they are cool! For those who haven’t seen Babiators they are designer sunglasses for babies and children, they come in a range of colours, styles and sizes and importantly offer 100% UV protection and are BPA free.
The Babiators I chose are Navigators in Ice Pink in age 0-2, we received our Babiators from the Natural baby shower online store and I was really impressed with their delivery time and extra effort included in the packaging. The product arrived in pristine condition beautifully packaged and both my 2 and 5 year old were very excited to see what was in the box.
The glasses deliver on style, durability, size, safety, and what’s unique is that they come with a 1 year guarantee against damage and loss! That just blows my mind, sunglasses for babies with a guarantee, that’s amazing. The guarantee is so simple to register for, I simply popped a 12-digit code and some personal details into the Babiators website and my sunglasses were safe for 1 year.
The glasses themselves are a really light, soft and flexible plastic. They are light enough that they stay on my 4 month old even when she is rolling around and must be super comfy as neither my 4 month old or 2 year old try to take these glasses off, but let’s face it why would you take them off when these glasses guarantee you uber-coolness.
The glasses are sized 0-2 years and I feel the sizing is good they look a little oversized on my 4 month old but this just adds to the cuteness and they fit securely on my 2 year old who has happily worn these glasses for hours at a time.
The glasses also have passed the toddler test, they have been thrown from a moving stroller, sat on and had the arms bent by a 2 year old and have held up perfectly without a mark on them.
I would recommend these sunglasses to all parents looking for a stylish pair of sunglasses for your babies first holiday or even to just sit back and enjoy the British summer in, I can safely say you won’t be disappointed as these glasses have to be the most adorable baby fashion accessory around.
Parent tester 4 - Daisy Weston
Since Matilda was born she has been obsessed with glasses and sunglasses (because they are black, or she could see her reflection). I was desperate to find her a pair, so that she could be twinning with me. We tried on various pairs, and the arms were too long or the frames pinched her head, even with all of this, she was still so happy to be trying on sunglasses so I knew I had to find some.
When the Babiators arrived they were so beautifully packaged from Natural Baby Shower, as you would expect from a designer purchase!
As soon as I took them out of the box I could feel they are incredibly light and robust! The flexibility in the frames mean they are super comfy when Matilda wears them, and they don't pinch her head or nose. They are also suitable from 0-2 and Matilda is a tiny baby and they fit her!
The lost and damaged guarantee is ideal for small children, as they will be replaced in the first year just for the cost of the postage. Now whenever I put her in her pushchair and we go outside, she isn't happy until she has her Babiators on, and has just learnt to pull them down to peer over them and push them back up her nose!
Parent Tester 5 - Vikki Riches (IG: @miloandezra)
We had the Babiators Original Navigator in Black and Milo calls them his rock star glasses! He can't wait to get them on as soon as the sun appears, which is great for me as I know how important it to protect his little eyes (they also have 100% UV protection).
I wasn't sure what size to go for as he is 4 years old, but the 3-5 years fit brilliantly and don't fall off when he is running around. The arms are really flexible and seem to be super sturdy so I am not constantly stressed out about him breaking them. We also registered them on the Babiators website to make sure that we could get a free new pair if he did accidentally lose of break them - bonus!
Delivery was really easy and quick from Natural Baby Shower.
