Natural Baby Shower 2020 Awards
2019 was going to be a tough year to top for the team at Natural Baby Shower with us winning a number of special awards. But 2020 is proving to be just as exciting and another award-winning year. What started from Vic’s passion for parenting, the environment and desire to make baby shopping simpler has grown into a leading highstreet and online independent retailer - loved and trusted by families around the world. It is this passion for the environment that we believe makes us at NBS unique and stand out, but also continue working hard to bring our customers the best nursery products. So we are always thrilled when we are recognised, and it means so much to everyone of us when we win awards for our dedication.
2020 has been a great year for us with an amazing 5 award wins. Keep reading to find out more about our newest awards that have been added to our trophy cabinet.
Weaning Week Awards
We won Bronze for Best Retailer in the Weaning Week awards 2020. The weaning week awards are designed to showcase the best of the best in the world of baby weaning. The finalists were whittled down from a number of different retailers, to then be cast for a public vote to decide the best of the best in the industry. The Best Retailer category was all about where parents feel offer the best baby eating and weaning products and look our for the best interests of both parent and baby.
We were up against stiff competition, with the likes of Waitrose, Tesco and Amazon vying for the title. So we were so thrilled to hear that we were awarded Bronze in such a tough category. We work hard to bring our customers the best eco and planet friendly feeding products all made from sustainable materials to help reduce waste and the use of plastic, so this award is testament that we are doing something right for the world of weaning!
Nursery Online Trade Awards
We were absolutely blown away to hear that we won, not 1, but 3 awards at the Nursery Online Awards 2020. We are so proud to say we won the following awards;
- Gold in the Best Medium-sized retailer
- Silver in the Digital Excellence Retailer Awards
- Gold in Best Community Retailer Award
Over 140 entries were received for the awards across all 13 categories, so were are honoured to have been chosen to win these awards. The hand selected panel of highly regarded and expert judges deliberated and discussed all entrants before coming to their decisions. The judges were industry professionals from a whole host of different fields from the founder of Dadsnet, to knowledgeable industry press experts and PR professionals.
The judges felt that Natural Baby Shower is an outstanding example of nursery retail, encompassing all the elements of a modern, forward-thinking business with a traditional approach to customer service. That has also shown great outreach to the community including having a scanning clinic in-store and parent and baby classes.
These awards have powered and inspired everyone at Natural Baby Shower to make 2020 our best year yet and continue to provide the award-winning service and products to our customers. Our commitment to make this planet a little greener and to providing parents with natural and sustainable baby products that are the very best for parents and babies, as well as the planet, continues. Baby Awards
We were also lucky enough to pick up the winner's trophy for "Best Online Retailer" at the Baby Awards 2020. This one meant a lot to everything at Natural Baby Shower as this is our second win in a row for these awards. Now in their sixth year, the Baby Awards have swiftly become the most respected and relevant awards in the industry. Their “Best Online Retailer” category celebrates online retailers in the industry known for their product range, online shopping experience and excellent service. We are thrilled to have regained our title as Best Online Retailer 2 years in a row.
