Maxi-Cosi Cassia Rocker Review
The Maxi-Cosi Cassia is a stylish and smart electric rocker for babies from birth to 9kg. The Cassia simply activates the swing when it recognizes your baby needs some extra comfort until you get there thanks to the automatic motion detector. The Cassia baby swing has 360⁰ rotation, comes with an attached baby mobile with two toys on it, two recline positions and a cosy newborn inlay. We think it’s great, but what did our parent testers think of it? Keep reading for their review of the Maxi-Cosi Cassia rocker.

I was kindly gifted the Maxi Cosi Cassia rocker in Essential Graphite to review. It arrived well packaged, it was a lot lighter than I expected. It took less than 5 minutes to put together and use.
This stylish electric swing has some seriously smart functions, it instinctively knows when and how to rock your baby when they are unsettled, thanks to the automatic motion detector mode, game changer! The Maxi-Cosi Cassia has 5 speeds, 12 songs and 3 timers to choose from too.
It is suitable from birth up to a maximum weight of 9kg. The clever seat also has a 360 degree rotation to help you keep an eye on baby at all times. It has two recline positions and the high quality fabric is easily detached and fully machine washable, which is handy if you have a sickly baby like mine!
It’s designed to be easy to move around the house, at less than 4kg in weight even my 10 year old can move it around easily for me. It also has a neat, very stable but space saving frame. It looks so stylish in my front room.
If I had to be fussy and have a con, it would be to have added chest pads on the straps making it a little comfier for little ones.
Poppy was 8 weeks when we received this and having been using it for the last few weeks, it will be well used for the months ahead.
This has definitely made my life a lot easier both me and Poppy love it and highly recommend.

The Maxi-Cosi Cassia is a stylish and quality swing that my newborn adores! It was easy to put together to the point where I didn’t even have to glance at the instructions. Super lightweight which is helpful as we need to move it around the house often. The main attraction I had to this swing was the fact that it sways like a person would, which is really settling. There aren’t many swings on the market that do this and are quite bulky in comparison. It also has a reclining position which is nearly flat, which makes me feel better about my newborn napping in it!
A few cons: although it’s mains operated (which saves on batteries) the lead is quite short, which limits where we can place it. Also, the straps really could do with some padding. We’ve added some seatbelt straps which have done the trick, but for an item this expensive we shouldn’t have to.
Altogether a fabulous swing which I would definitely recommend!
