Introducing Baby Boosa

Who are Baby Boosa?

Baby Boosa are a small family start-up with a big vision of redefining baby and toddler products through sustainability, style, community, and thoughtful design. Always manufactured with non-toxic and eco-safe materials, Baby Boosa thoughtfully design all products with the aim of making parenting a little easier where possible.

The Baby Boosa Story

Founded by mum of two Mira Massih during maternity leave, Baby Boosa was born with the aim to re-define baby and toddler products. Baby Boosa was created out of a life long dream to try and create something of beauty or fashion related.

As a dentist for over 12 years, Mira was passionate about both business and her dental career. Yet after experiencing gender inequality in a job interview, Mira's long term mission was to become her own female business owner to challenge and raise awareness of bias against women.

As soon as Mira found out she was pregnant with her second child, her focus was straight into idea mode. After falling in love with a name used to call her little boy 'baby boo-sah’ meaning ‘baby kiss’ in Arabic, the company was born and project leopard print (subtle single colour) bib began...

The Baby Boosa Principles

Sustainability

Baby Boosa have eliminated single-use plastic from their packaging all the way from the factory to the front door with every Baby Boosa product arriving in a luxury re-usable storage bag. Their signature packaging is both re-usable and loved by parents. They can be used to store snacks, shopping and perfect to organise toys or use in the washing machine!

Baby Boosa’s eco-conscious range has been tested to the highest standards using premium certified non-toxic BPA silicone and is phthalates, lead and PVC free.  Re-useable food grade silicone can be a safe, sustainable, and convenient alternative to plastic, helping to target plastic pollution.

Environment

Baby Boosa are committed to letting silicone live on which is why they launched their Recycle 2 play scheme with the aim to repurpose silicone baby weaning & feeding items back into safe playground flooring mulsh or pebble chips! By reusing existing materials, less virgin materials are required, reducing pollution and environmental damage and it gets better...

Baby Boosa has extended this scheme to all silicone items, no matter the brand. Their mission; to do the best they can for the industry and the environment for future generations to grow up into.

Customers can help to reduce the amount of waste that ends up in landfill or our oceans by simply emailing hello@babyboosa.com and send their Baby Boosa items back to be recycled or email for further instructions on other silicone items.
