Today marks International Women’s Day – a day to celebrate and recognise the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. Natural Baby Shower is lucky to have businesswoman and mum of 3 at the helm, in co-founder Vics. Whilst bringing up her first baby travelling across New Zealand, Vics discovered many natural and sustainable nursery products to choose from and it came as a shock on her return to the UK that those options were no longer available. It kickstarted her vision to bring British parents the very best for baby, parents, and the planet too.
The NBS workforce is predominantly female and we strongly believe in creating an inclusive work culture where women's careers thrive, and their achievements are celebrated.

Sarah, Warehouse Operative
What did you want to be when you were younger? A paramedic!
What is your favourite part of working at Natural Baby Shower and your role? I enjoy the lovely people I work with and the friendly environment in the NBS warehouse. My favourite part of my job is gift wrapping – I’m a creative person and I get real job satisfaction when I wrap a gift.
Lydia, Social Media + Marketing Manager
What did you want to be when you were younger? An investigative journalist like Lois Lane.
What is your favourite part of working at Natural Baby Shower and your role? At the risk of sounding corny, NBS is like one big family - everyone gets on so well and we really pull together in the busy times. Working in Marketing means I get to look at gorgeous baby pictures all day too!
Amber, Customer Service Manager
What did you want to be when you were younger? I always wanted to be a professional dancer on stage with the likes of Beyoncé, just was never that good!
What is your favourite part of working at Natural Baby Shower and your role? I love helping new parents find their way. It's stressful enough as it is, if we can help provide assistance, advice and comfort on their journey that's a win for me!
Shermaine, Store Assistant
What did you want to be when you were younger? Growing up I wanted to be a Guardian Angel, they were a volunteer group that helped protect the general public and wore a really cool red beret!
What is your favourite part of working at Natural Baby Shower and your role? I absolutely love meeting excited, expecting parents in our store. I also really enjoy merchandising all the new stock that comes into store and helping with social media videos – you might recognise my face from our Instagram!

What did you want to be when you were younger? A model!
What is your favourite part of working at Natural Baby Shower and your role? My favourite part of working at NBS is collaboratively working with like-minded people whilst having a good laugh in the office! In my job I get to work with different types of influencers who all create such gorgeous content and I love seeing our lovely products in action.

What is your favourite part of working at Natural Baby Shower and your role? I look forward to coming into work and seeing everyone I work with, it feels like a second family! I’m a packer and I enjoy sending customers nicely packed parcels, so that when they open it makes them happy.

What did you want to be when you were younger? A post woman because I thought they only bring people cards and presents! It came as a shock to me to discover they also send bills…
What is your favourite part of working at Natural Baby Shower and your role? NBS has such commitment to the overall service - we try and tailor to all customers that come in and give them a personalised shopping experience. I also think the sustainability element of our business is so important. Personally, I really love helping parents and of course getting to meet little ones for cuddles once they arrive!
