The Britax Römer BABY-SAFE PRO is the brand’s lightest and most innovative infant carrier yet, designed to keep your little one safe, supported and comfortable from birth up to approximately 15 months.

Featuring ergonomic Ergo Recline technology, the seat creates a flatter, more natural lying position to support healthy spinal development and help keep your baby’s airways open during every journey. Whether installed in the car or attached to a compatible stroller, Ergo Recline can be adjusted easily with one hand, allowing your baby to rest comfortably wherever you go.

Weighing just 3.9kg, the BABY-SAFE PRO is lightweight and practical for everyday family life, while thoughtful details like the extra-large sun canopy, adjustable handle and quick-remove washable cover make travelling with baby that little bit easier.

When paired with the VARIO BASE 5Z, the rotating function allows you to turn the seat towards the car door for easier access when lifting your baby in and out. The base also offers adjustable positioning to help achieve the best seat angle in different vehicles.

Specially designed newborn inserts provide added support and comfort during those early weeks, while the adjustable headrest and harness adapt as your baby grows.

Britax Römer Baby-Safe Pro Car Seat

We recently got the Britax Baby-Safe car seat and I’ve honestly been so impressed already. It’s one of those items that just makes everything feel a bit more real as we get ready for our baby boy.

I especially love the newborn insert and head support, which feel really reassuring and designed to keep baby snug and secure from those very first journeys. Even just handling the seat at home, it feels sturdy and well made, which is exactly what you want when it comes to something so important. The adjustable headrest is also a great feature, allowing the seat to grow with your baby and continue providing the right level of support. It’s reassuring to know it’s suitable from birth and designed with both comfort and safety in mind, especially knowing this will be the seat we bring him home from the hospital in.

Another thing that really stood out to me is how lightweight and easy it is to move around. The handle adjusts smoothly, and the harness system feels secure but still simple to use, which I think will make a big difference in day to day life once baby is here.
