- Before using the nipple shield, speak to a breastfeeding expert to address the root cause of latch issues
- For the best fit, soak the shield in hot water for 1-2 minutes to soften it
- Apply a small amount of HPA Lanolin Nipple Cream to the rim of the shield to help it stay in place
- Turn the shield inside out, line it up with your nipple, + gently push the rim towards your breast for a secure fit
- Once in place, feed as usual
