I really had to write in to say how impressed I am with my daughters Natures Nest Hammock. My daughter totally loves it and usually falls asleep within 5 minutes of being put to bed. She was very premature so she was absolutely tiny when I was finally able to bring her home from hospital. She didn't sleep very well at first because she was lost in a cot and even a Moses basket was too big. I love the way the mattress wraps around her tiny body. The first night she slept in her nest was the first night I had to wake her for her feeds. She sleeps right through now and is all smiles when she wakes in the morning. I can't recommend this product highly enough. I am able to enjoy time with my daughter without feeling shattered and stressed. I have a cot for her but we never use it. I was obsessed about buying a hammock before my baby was born as I had read all the reviews - everyone around me was sceptical and did not believe the results .. I am so smug now! My baby has been sleeping in her hammock since she came home and she loves it and I love the amount of sleep I get - she has been sleeping through the night now for weeks and all my friends are still getting up for night feeds .. my baby is now 10 weeks old. *Newborn babies are at risk of developing flat areas on their head, this is due to sleeping on a flat hard surface hence their weight is not being evenly distributed. It has become more of a problem in recent years due to the advice to have babies sleep on their backs. Within the Natures Nest your baby will sleep in a slightly upright position and there is no hard surface, thus distributing babies head weight more evenly to the rest of the body and reducing the problems of Flat Head.
