Natural Baby Shower was founded back in 2007 by Victoria Hampson and IT consultant Clifton Vaughan, who runs the Web & Database Design company TidalWave UK.

Inspired by a stint in NZ with its burgeoning natural baby care movement and the birth of their first child Dylan, the couple decided to put their business, IT and of course parenting skills to good use.  

They created a one-stop site where parents could find out about natural baby care and source high quality, chemical-free and ethically-made baby products: organic clothes, baby bedding, eco-baby toiletries and more - all at affordable prices.

Juggling young children and two new businesses was challenging, but Natural Baby Shower grew from the kitchen table, to the office-cum-shed and by 2009 it had its own warehouse premises plus a boutique in Chertsey, Surrey – only an hour from central London.

Today the company employs 6 people and counting. The boutique was nominated in The Telegraph’s 2011 Independent Shop Awards, and the website re-launched in February 2012 with an ever evolving range including innovative maternity products, beautiful merino clothing, wooden toys, organic nursery collections & a truly impressive gift range.

NBS also supports a thriving Facebook community and Twitter feed for like-minded parents plus weekly blog posts featuring sometimes quirky, always interesting opinions and advice from fellow natural parents.
