The Grembo bags are one of our very favourites products, both in design and quality.

"Grembo" means "womb" in Italian, reflecting the pure, soft and secure environment the bag creates for a baby. All the Grembo bags are all made from pure organic cotton which is free of dyes, pesticides, insecticides, bleach and other abrasive chemicals and has not been treated with fire retardants.

The Turtle Tummy is a winter weight bag, constructed from organic chambray, quilted with hypo-allergenic polyester fill. The fill favours structural integrity after washing and is fast drying . It is lined and clean finished with organic cotton fleece for maximum warmth and comfort.

An ideal time to start using a Baby Sleeping Bag is when your baby weighs more than 7 lbs (2-6 mths size). It is very important to check that your baby’s head cannot pass through the neck-hole when the baby sleeping bag is fastened for use. Please remember that these are recommendations only as all babies are different.

SIZING
Make sure that your baby’s legs and feet have freedom to move about, by ensuring that the baby sleeping bag is long enough for your baby. The approximate lengths of Grembo sleeping bags (from shoulder to bottom) are:

Choosing a Tog
A tog measurement is a European warmth rating: the higher the tog, the warmer the product. Guide Below.

2.5 Tog - Ideal for standard nursery temperatures 16-20 OC
1.0 Tog - Use in warmer weather and in nurseries of 20-24 OC
0.5 Tog - For hot weather and very warm nursery environments of 24-27 OC


Please note: A number of external factors determine the tog rating of the sleeping bag that should be used. These include the quantity of clothing the baby is wearing, the temperature of the infant’s bedroom, the baby’s health and the amount of bedding necessary to keep an individual infant warm – this may vary as it does for adults.

Check your baby regularly to ensure they do not overheat.
