This is a large and truly luxurious merino lambskin baby rug! Boasting all the same quality features as the other lambskins in the range, but just more of it! This particular lambskin rug is a very light cream / off white colour, with a thick deep pile, giving it a truly soft, natural and beautiful appeal. • As bedding, it is recommended the lambskin is covered with a sheet and not used for small babies under the age of one, due to the depth of pile. Older children will enjoy lying directly on the lambskin.

• As a playmat, the long haired rug is recommended babies above 3 months of age and always under adult supervision.

To maintain the high quality of the lambskin we always recommend washing with a special lambskin shampoo which contains lanolin. This replaces the natural lanolin in the wool so that it stays lovely and soft. If tumble drying, the heat should be kept low and the lambskin should be taken out when the leather side is still slightly damp. The lambskin should then be repeatedly stretched into shape, until it is fully dry. The wool can be brushed out when it is dry to maintain it's fluffy appearance.
