This is a large and truly luxurious merino lambskin baby rug! Boasting all the same quality features as the other lambskins in the range, but just more of it! This particular lambskin rug is a very light cream / off white colour, with a thick deep pile, giving it a truly soft, natural and beautiful appeal. If possible even more deliciously luxurious and soft than the pram liners and shorn lambskins, These must-haves are from the same producer and are therefore tested to the same high standards.
From Gabe & Grace, these wonderful long haired lambskins rugs are multifunctional and can be used as a play mat and as part of your child's bedding:
• As bedding, it is recommended the lambskin is covered with a sheet and not used for small babies under the age of one, due to the depth of pile. Older children will enjoy lying directly on the lambskin.
• As a playmat, the long haired rug is recommended babies above 3 months of age and always under adult supervision.
Lambskins provide wonderful sleep promoting qualities to babies and young children and can be of particular comfort when your child is feeling under the weather or has skin conditions or rashes such as the Chicken Pox. The inherent qualities of lambskin are temperature balancing and they relieve pressure points - the skin to skin contact is not only enjoyable, but calming and soothing for young babies and children, thereby giving comfort and aiding sleep

Washing & Drying instructions
To maintain the high quality of the lambskin we always recommend washing with a special lambskin shampoo which contains lanolin. This replaces the natural lanolin in the wool so that it stays lovely and soft.
• Wash on cool delicate wash or by hand.
• Wash the lambskin on its own to avoid colour transfer from other items of washing
• After washing, wring by hand and pull into shape.
• If tumble drying (not the recommended way to dry), the heat should be kept on cool
• The lambskin should be taken out when the leather side is still slightly damp.
• Avoid placing Lambskin’s in direct sunlight as this will damage the colour.
• Avoid placing on direct heat from radiators.
• Dry with care, wool side up. Whilst drying, keep plumping and pulling into shape.
• The wool can be brushed out when it is dry to maintain it's fluffy appearance.
• We recommend using our Lambskin Wire Brush
We recommend washing only when badly soiled as it can be wiped clean for spills. Lambskins are very hygienic and self-cleaning.
NOTE- For a play mat, the long haired rug is recommended babies above 3 months of age and always under adult supervision.
