The Coco Mat is a wonderful handcrafted mattress made from organic coir. Coir is made from coconut fibres, which are coated in natural latex to make a supportive and breathable fibrous layer. The coir is wrapped with soft, anti dust mite lambs wool which acts as an excellent thermal insulator, ensuring the mattress is cosy in winter and cool in summer.
The natural fibres used allow excellent ventilation which is vital in helping to prevent babies from over heating.
- Handcrafted in Devon using the highest quality raw materials. - 100% non-allergenic (dust mites cannot live in the organic coir). - Cover is unbleached cotton herringbone machine washable at 60°C. - Crib and cot mattresses are 7-8cm thick. - Naturallyfire retardant; passed all British Safety Standards without chemical fire retardants (linked to skin allergies and respiratory problems). Note: The comfort and support provided by the Coco mattress is best suited to smaller cots, cradles and Moses baskets etc. It is available in standard sizes or made to measure, which incurs the price of the standard mattress size above, plus a £10 surcharge.
